A US and British study has shown that adults and children have different preferences in the way food should be presented on plates and this can have implications in getting children to try new foods and to eat healthier. While children preferred at least 7 different food items on their plate with at least 6 different colours, adults preferred only 3 items and 3 colours.
The new look Heinz Nurture Infant Formula and Toddler Milk packaging (see newswire 21/11/2011) is now appearing in supermarkets and pharmacies. While the formulation of both the Gold and Original infant formulas has not changed, there has been some small changes to the Gold and Original Toddler Milks.
The Heinz baby food range in cans and jars has been slightly adjusted so that the age range and colour coding now co-incides more closely with baby's development in terms of texture and taste. The red colour coded range of foods is being phased out with these foods now being incorporated into the yellow range for ages 6+ months.
